1. What’s the difference between the fabrics on each side of the baby nest?
Side A of the baby nest uses mulberry silk, which is smooth, delicate, and moisture-wicking, ideal for hot climates or warm indoor environments. Side B is made from cotton crepe fabric, offering a textured feel to enhance tactile development and breathability.
2. How does your product reduce the Startle Reflex in newborns?
Our cocoon nest for newborns is designed with soft, fluffy SSS fiber snowballs around the edges, creating a cocoon-like structure that mimics a mother’s embrace. This secure environment reduces the baby’s Startle Reflex, helping them sleep more peacefully.
3. How does your baby nest make it easier for parents to hold or transfer the baby?
Our baby nest features a 4mm spacer mesh lining that gently cradles the baby’s body, providing structured support. This makes it easier for parents to lift or transfer the baby without disturbing their sleep, ensuring smooth transitions between holding, feeding, or putting the baby down.
Here is our original thinking:
Newborn babies, especially those aged 0-3 months,
are often prone to Startle Reflex,
which causes crying and poor sleep as they transition from the womb to the wide, open world.
At this stage, they need a soft, comfortable environment
that closely mimics the mother’s embrace to provide a sense of security.
Our designed cocoon nest for newborns is filled with soft and fluffy SSS fiber snow balls around the edges,
forming a rounded nest.
When the baby lies inside, they feel wrapped, much like being held by their mother.
Since a newborn’s skin is extremely delicate,
it is crucial that the materials are soft and skin-friendly.
For this reason, we selected ultra-fine 19-momme mulberry silk for side A,
which is smooth and delicate.
For side B, we chose pure cotton crepe fabric,
which has a slight texture to stimulate the baby’s tactile development and offers excellent breathability.
For the nest’s inner lining,
we added a 4mm spacer mesh, which enhances breathability while also providing some support to gently cradle the baby’s body.
This makes it easier for new mothers to lift or place the baby,
or hand them over to the father,
without disturbing the baby.
From the inside out,
we have chosen simple, pure white, hypoallergenic materials that won’t irritate the baby’s skin.
Additionally, through microwave treatment without chemical additives,
the product maintains long-lasting antibacterial and anti-mite properties,
safeguarding the baby’s sleep environment.
