Pillows Production Process

Behind every pillow is a carefully managed production process. From sample development and material inspection to sewing, filling, quality control, and shipment, our team focuses on every detail to deliver products that meet customer expectations consistently and reliably.
How We Make It

Our Manufacturing Steps

Sample Making
01

Sample Making

Most projects begin with sample development. Based on your product’s functional features, structure, and material preferences, we create samples while carefully considering material utilization, manufacturing efficiency, and production stability for future bulk orders.
Approved Product Sample
02

Approved Product Sample

Every approved sample is permanently archived, including both CAD files and a physical reference sample. Each archived sample is marked with our red sample label and serves as the production standard for future orders.
Pre-Production Meeting
03

Pre-Production Meeting

To reduce production errors, we hold a pre-production meeting before every order. Team leaders from different departments review the product, construction details, workmanship requirements, and quality standards together.
Material Inspection
04

Material Inspection

Before production begins, all materials undergo inspection. We verify color consistency, fabric width, weight, shrinkage rate, and other critical specifications to ensure every batch meets production requirements.
Cutting
05

Cutting

Our technical department provides approved cutting patterns to the cutting team. To maintain accuracy, fabric lay heights are carefully controlled, minimizing cutting deviations. Small positioning notches are also added to support precise sewing alignment.
CAD Nesting Process
06

CAD Nesting Process

Before bulk cutting, we use CAD nesting software to optimize pattern layouts. This helps maximize material utilization, reduce waste, and achieve the most efficient cutting plan.
Cut Panel Inspection
07

Cut Panel Inspection

After cutting, every panel is individually inspected. Damaged or defective components are identified and removed before sewing, helping prevent quality issues in later production stages.
Positioning Marking
08

Positioning Marking

For large products or designs with complex stitching lines, we mark three to five positioning points in advance. These reference marks help operators align key areas accurately and maintain consistency across all products.
Sewing
09

Sewing

We divide sewing into specialized operations to improve efficiency and ensure operator proficiency. Each production group is supervised by an experienced team leader who continuously monitors workmanship and quality standards.
Template Sewing
10

Template Sewing

For pillows, pet beds, and other products with curved or complex stitching lines, we use template sewing machines with 360-degree needle rotation. This technology ensures highly consistent sewing quality throughout large production runs.
In-Process Inspection
11

In-Process Inspection

Our technical supervisor and production manager conduct routine inspections three times daily. In addition, our sales team performs an extra daily inspection to ensure production remains on schedule and quality standards are maintained.
Filling
12

Filling

After sewing is completed, products move to the filling stage. Operators follow detailed filling SOPs, and the first five pieces are reviewed by our sales team. Because filling material density may vary slightly by batch, we confirm any necessary adjustments with customers promptly.
Weight Check
13

Weight Check

Every filled product is individually weighed. Small products follow a zero-tolerance standard, while larger products such as infant nests and pet beds are controlled within a strict 5–10g tolerance range.
Hand Stitching Closure
14

Hand Stitching Closure

Many premium products with smooth curves and refined appearances are closed by hand stitching. This technique creates an almost invisible closure point, delivering a cleaner and more attractive finished appearance.
Quality Inspection
15

Quality Inspection

Each product undergoes two independent quality inspections. We verify weight, dimensions, stitching strength, cleanliness, and overall condition to ensure products meet established quality standards before packaging.
Vacuum Compression
16

Vacuum Compression

For large-sized products, we offer vacuum compression packaging. This helps customers reduce shipping costs, warehouse storage expenses, and Amazon FBA fulfillment fees while maintaining product protection during transportation.
Needle Detection
17

Needle Detection

All products pass needle detection before shipment to ensure no broken needle fragments remain inside. We also perform daily inventories of needles, scissors, tweezers, and other sharp tools, with complete records maintained for every broken needle incident.
Packing
18

Packing

All hangtags, polybags, and cartons are packed according to standardized packaging SOPs. Packaging is completed in a dedicated enclosed area that is cleaned daily to maintain product cleanliness, packaging accuracy, and presentation quality.
Shipment
19

Shipment

Before shipment, every export carton is checked to ensure it is strong, durable, and undamaged. Transport vehicles are cleaned and inspected before loading to help protect products throughout transportation and delivery.
