Case Study
From Fabric Supply to Full Product Manufacturing
In 2019, Chinese premium baby brand Bebebus was developing its first stroller product and wanted a breathable 3D mesh stroller liner as a bundled accessory. However, their previous supplier struggled with thick spacer mesh sewing quality, especially on 8mm mesh edge binding and overall product finishing.
Our Solution
Product Solution
1
Solving Thick Spacer Mesh Sewing Problems
During development, the customer tested several thick mesh materials, but the finished sewing quality remained unstable. Mefiss used our experience with thick 3D mesh products and specialized sewing equipment to achieve smooth and stable edge binding from the first sample stage.
2
Supporting Both Material & Finished Product Production
The customer originally only planned to purchase fabric, but later requested complete finished product manufacturing. Mefiss Textile, our own spacer mesh fabric factory, supplied the breathable mesh materials while our sewing team completed the full stroller liner production process.
3
Improving Stability Through Production Experience
Because thick spacer mesh materials have unique rebound and stretch characteristics, normal sewing factories often face deformation and appearance problems. Our production team optimized sewing tension, material handling, and binding techniques specifically for 3D mesh product manufacturing.
4
Expanding Into More Baby Product Categories
After the stroller liner project succeeded, the cooperation expanded into multiple baby product categories, including TPE tube newborn pillows, kids pillows, POE air fiber crib mattresses, and seasonal blankets, creating a long-term product development partnership.
Results
What We Achieved
The stroller liner series accumulated shipments of more than 150,000 pieces and helped Mefiss become one of Bebebus’ long-term strategic suppliers.
