Can your products meet international safety requirements?

Yes. Depending on the product category and target market, our products can comply with standards such as CPSIA, REACH, UKCA, RoHS and various baby product safety requirements. We work closely with professional testing organizations to verify compliance before mass production.

Do your materials have OEKO-TEX® certification?

Many of our fabrics, zippers, latex materials and textile components have passed OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 requirements. We also cooperate with OEKO-TEX certified dyeing facilities to ensure consistent compliance throughout production.

Can you provide test reports?

Yes. We can provide existing reports when applicable and arrange additional testing if your market requires specific certifications. Our products have undergone testing for formaldehyde, heavy metals, color fastness, antibacterial performance, anti-mite performance, breathability and many other categories.

Are your products suitable for baby use?

Many of our products are specifically developed for baby and children’s markets. Products supplied to baby brands regularly comply with China’s Class A infant product standards and other relevant safety requirements. We also work extensively with established baby brands in multiple countries.

Have your mattress products been tested?

Yes. Our children’s mattresses and baby mattresses have passed comprehensive testing covering durability, structural safety, chemical safety, shrinkage, zipper strength, firmness, TVOC emissions and many other performance requirements.

Do you test antibacterial and anti-mite performance?

Yes. We have conducted extensive testing through third-party laboratories to verify antibacterial and anti-mite performance across multiple materials and treatments. Some treated materials have demonstrated effective performance even after more than 100 washing cycles.

Can you arrange custom testing for our project?

Absolutely. If your market requires certifications or testing that we have not previously completed, we can work with accredited laboratories such as SGS, TUV, Intertek and other testing organizations to conduct project-specific evaluations.

Lead Time, Shipping & Packaging

What is your typical production lead time?

For most orders below 5,000 units, production can usually be completed within 20 days. Orders below 10,000 units are typically completed within 30 days. Actual lead times may vary depending on product complexity, material availability and testing requirements.

Can you support urgent projects?

Yes. Because we maintain inventories of commonly used materials and operate multiple production lines, we are often able to accelerate development and production schedules. For urgent projects, our team will evaluate the timeline and propose the most practical solution.

Which ports do you ship from?

Our factory is located in Jiangsu Province, close to both Shanghai Port and Ningbo Port. This strategic location provides flexible shipping options and efficient access to major international logistics routes.

What shipping methods do you support?

We support ocean freight, air freight and land transportation depending on destination, budget and delivery requirements. Our team can also coordinate with your preferred freight forwarder or logistics partner.

Can you help reduce shipping costs?

Yes. Packaging optimization is often an effective way to reduce logistics costs. For example, when developing large cushions and pillows for a Japanese customer, we introduced vacuum compression packaging to significantly reduce shipping volume and warehouse costs while maintaining product quality.

What packaging options do you offer?

Can you arrange third-party inspections?

Yes. We welcome third-party inspections arranged by customers. Many customers also request production photos and videos throughout manufacturing. Whether you work with SGS, Intertek, TUV or your own inspection agency, we are happy to cooperate to ensure transparency and confidence.

How do you control quality for complex products?

For products involving multiple materials and complex structures, we create detailed process documentation and production standards before manufacturing begins. For example, when producing breathable baby mattresses that combine latex, POE Air Fiber and anti-mite fabrics, every material specification, assembly step and inspection point is clearly documented to minimize production risks.

What materials does Mefiss specialize in?

We specialize in functional bedding and comfort materials including 3D mesh fabric, POE air fiber, silicone foam, mulberry silk, TPE tube, antibacterial fabrics and various breathable textile structures. What is 3D Mesh Fabric and why is it popular?

3D mesh fabric, also known as spacer mesh, is a three-dimensional textile structure that creates continuous airflow channels within the material. Compared with traditional foam or fiber fillings, it offers superior breathability, faster drying and excellent durability.

What makes Mefiss different is that we operate our own spacer mesh manufacturing facility, Mefiss Textile, equipped with more than 90 warp knitting machines capable of producing 1–20mm thick mesh fabrics in a wide range of weights, structures and surface patterns. This allows us to customize thickness, airflow performance, texture, color and functional finishes based on specific product requirements.

Today, 3D mesh fabric is widely used in newborn pillows, kindergarten nap mats, stroller liners, mattresses, cushions and pet products, making it one of the most versatile materials for breathable comfort solutions.

What is POE Air Fiber?

POE Air Fiber is a three-dimensional elastic polymer structure designed to replace traditional foam and fiber fillings. It provides excellent airflow, pressure distribution and washability. We have used POE Air Fiber in children’s mattresses, adult pillows, seat cushions and pet bedding products, particularly for customers seeking breathable and easy-to-clean solutions.

What makes Silicone Foam different from memory foam?

Silicone foam features an open-cell structure that provides significantly better airflow than conventional memory foam. It also maintains its resilience over time and supports easier cleaning. These characteristics make it especially suitable for breathable pillows, children’s sleep products and innovative bedding concepts.

Is mulberry silk suitable for baby products?

Yes. Mulberry silk is naturally soft, smooth and comfortable against delicate skin. It is widely used in premium baby products such as swaddles, infant pillows, comfort cloths and bibs. Silk also helps create a premium brand image and enhances perceived product value.

Do you offer antibacterial and anti-mite solutions?

Yes. We operate advanced microwave antibacterial and anti-mite treatment equipment that does not require chemical additives. The treatment can be applied to various materials including polyester, cotton, lyocell and fillings. Testing has shown that many treated materials maintain strong antibacterial performance even after extensive washing cycles.

How do you determine pricing?

Pricing is primarily based on product dimensions, materials, construction complexity, packaging requirements, testing requirements and order quantity. During the development process, we often provide preliminary estimates and then finalize quotations once samples and specifications are confirmed.

Can you provide quotations before sampling?

Yes. Based on available product information, we can usually provide a preliminary price range to help customers evaluate project feasibility. Final quotations are typically confirmed after sample development and specification approval.

What are your payment terms?

Our standard payment term is 30% deposit before production and 70% balance against the copy of the Bill of Lading by T/T. Alternative arrangements may be discussed for long-term strategic partners.

How do you handle quality claims?

If a quality issue occurs, we ask customers to first support the end consumer and then provide documentation of the issue. After reviewing the case, we compensate customers according to the agreed terms and work together to prevent similar issues in future orders.

Do you provide spare parts or replacement accessories?

Yes. To help customers resolve after-sales issues efficiently, we often include approximately 0.5% spare components with shipments when applicable. This allows customers to quickly replace parts without waiting for additional shipments.

How do you reduce after-sales problems?

Our quality system includes material inspections, in-process inspections, two independent finished-product inspections and needle detection before packaging. These procedures help minimize defects before products leave the factory.

Samples, MOQ & Flexible Production

Do you charge for samples?

Yes, samples are charged separately. Sample development typically involves multiple rounds of material testing, pattern adjustments and manual production, making the cost significantly higher than mass production. Once a bulk order is confirmed, part of the sample cost can be credited back according to the project agreement.

How long does sample development take?

Most samples can be completed within 2–5 working days because we maintain a large inventory of fabrics and accessories. For projects involving newly developed materials, custom molds or special testing requirements, the development timeline may be longer. Before shipping, we normally provide photos and videos for approval to reduce unnecessary revisions.

Can you help startups or new brands with small trial orders?

Yes. We understand that many brands need to validate products before placing larger orders. For example, we supported a Japanese startup customer developing POE air fiber children’s mattresses, play mats and pillows, where the first order quantity was only around 150 units per SKU. By utilizing stocked materials and flexible production planning, we helped them launch products with lower initial investment.

What is your typical MOQ?

MOQ depends on product complexity, material combinations and production efficiency. For pillows, an efficient production quantity is usually around 3,000 pieces, while mattresses are often 500–1,000 pieces. However, for market testing purposes, we frequently support much smaller quantities and can propose alternative material or packaging solutions to accommodate lower-volume projects.

What if our order quantity does not meet your MOQ?

We often help customers lower MOQ requirements by utilizing stocked fabrics, standard accessories or existing material specifications. If quantities are significantly below normal production levels, we can still manufacture the products with an adjusted unit price. Our goal is to help customers enter the market efficiently while maintaining reasonable production economics.

Can different colors or sizes be combined in one order?

In many cases, yes. The feasibility depends on the materials involved and production complexity. We frequently support customers with multiple colorways and size combinations, especially during new product launches when market demand is still being evaluated.
