Breathable Newborn Pillow With Adjustable Support
In 2021, Bebebus planned to expand its newborn pillow category and hoped to create a more differentiated infant pillow product. At that time, many pillows on the market still used memory foam or latex structures that often trapped heat and could not easily adapt to different baby head shapes, so we proposed a more breathable adjustable structure solution.

Using TPE Tube for Better Airflow
To improve airflow and rebound stability, we selected TPE tube material with a hollow through-hole structure as the pillow filling. Compared with traditional dense foam materials, the structure released heat and moisture more efficiently during newborn sleep.

Designing an Adjustable Support System
We added three adjustable drawstring areas inside the pillow structure, allowing parents to adjust the left, right, and center support height according to different flat-head and side-head sleeping situations for newborn babies.

Combining Two Different Sleep Surfaces
For the sleeping surface, we used LC mesh Tencel™ fabric on the front side to create a cooler and more breathable touch feeling. The back side used cotton air-layer fabric, helping the pillow adapt better to year-round household use.

Improving TPE Tube Stability Performance
During development, traditional TPE tube materials showed odor and oil leakage issues. We continuously adjusted raw material selection and production parameters through repeated testing, improving the stability and long-term usability of the final product.
Results
What We Achieved
The product later expanded into multiple versions with different specifications and functions, becoming one of the customer’s long-term stable production pillow series.
