Helping BLBM Improve POE Mattress Comfort
Since 2019, Chinese premium mattress brand BLBM has focused on breathable POE air fiber mattresses and cushions. Because POE air fiber cores naturally have a firmer and less smooth surface than latex or memory foam, the customer needed a mattress cover solution with better airflow, thickness stability, and long-term washable performance.

Improving Breathability Without Sacrificing Comfort
To maintain the airflow advantages of the POE air fiber core, we proposed a dual-sided mattress cover structure. Mefiss Textile, our own spacer mesh fabric factory, supplied customized BD1 spacer mesh fabric to improve airflow while adding softer surface comfort.

Increasing Stability After Washing
The customer required the mattress cover to maintain stable dimensions after repeated washing. We optimized the fabric thickness and structure stability to reduce deformation and shrinkage problems commonly seen in breathable mattress products.

Matching the Brand’s Purple Color Standard
Because purple was the customer’s main brand color, color consistency and fastness became important production requirements. The fabric dyeing process was completed through OEKO-TEX certified dyeing factories to improve batch stability for long-term production.

Reducing Shipping & Packaging Costs
To lower transportation and e-commerce shipping costs, we suggested dividing the mattress core into three sections with different support zones based on body pressure distribution. This structure reduced packaging volume while also improving sleeping support performance.

The 10cm thick breathable mattress became one of the customer’s long-term best-selling products and continued stable sales in the premium POE air fiber mattress market.
