In 2021, Bebebus wanted to develop a more differentiated newborn lounger product. At that time, many similar products already existed in the market, so the customer hoped to create a product with clearer differentiation and longer-term usage value for consumers.

Combining Two Functions Into One Product
After market analysis, we proposed combining a pregnancy support pillow and a newborn lounger into one product. The lounger size was enlarged, while the U-shaped surrounding pillow was designed as a removable pregnancy pillow structure.

Extending Usage From Pregnancy to Newborn Stage
During pregnancy, consumers could use the U-shaped pillow to support the abdomen, waist, and legs. After the baby was born, the same pillow could be inserted into the lounger cover structure and converted into a newborn sleeping nest.

Improving Breathability With Spacer Mesh
To improve airflow performance, the U-shaped pillow surface used 4mm spacer mesh fabric. Mefiss Textile, our own spacer mesh fabric factory, also supplied breathable mesh materials for the lounger cover, helping improve overall air circulation and sleeping comfort.

Balancing Structure & Daily Comfort
The removable structure required stable support while maintaining softness and comfort. We optimized the product dimensions and sewing structure to ensure the lounger maintained stable shape performance during repeated daily use and conversion between functions.
