Creating a Fully Washable Kids Support Pillow
In 2025, premium travel baby brand Hagaday wanted to develop a children’s pillow suitable for ages 1–10. The customer hoped the product could achieve full-body washing, antibacterial and anti-mite performance, while also supporting different cervical support heights for growing children.

Replacing Traditional Foam Pillow Structures
At that time, many children’s pillows on the market still used memory foam or latex structures with limited airflow and difficult cleaning maintenance. We proposed using silicone foam material with over 93% open-cell structure to improve breathability and washable performance.

Creating Different Height Combinations
To better match cervical development at different ages, we designed three pillow core thickness options: 1.5cm, 3cm, and 5cm. Consumers could freely combine different heights according to children’s sleeping habits and support requirements.

Combining Cooling & Breathable Materials
For the outer cover, we customized DUKK palm-oil temperature-control yarn with phase-change cooling performance. In the main sleeping area, we also used Mes-tio Shield™ antibacterial mesh fabric and added 4mm spacer mesh layers to improve airflow.

Improving Product Appearance & Daily Use
To strengthen the premium product appearance, we used three-color fabric splicing between the cooling fabric and mesh structure areas. The silicone foam core also supported high-temperature washing, helping improve long-term hygiene and maintenance convenience.

The pillow achieved stable sales performance on Tmall and JD platforms, with monthly sales exceeding 3,000 pieces.
