Introducing New Functional Spacer Mesh Fabrics

At the 2017 Canton Fair, our own fabric factory, Mefiss Textile, presented several newly developed spacer mesh fabrics designed for specialized applications. These innovative materials focused on improving comfort, elasticity, support, and breathability for both consumer and industrial products.

BC2-6B3 Elastic Spacer Mesh Fabric

One of the key products was BC2-6B3, a 5.3mm spacer mesh fabric developed with added spandex. Compared with conventional spacer fabrics, it offered enhanced flexibility and pressure distribution, making it suitable for wheelchairs, orthopedic supports, protective gear, and other comfort-focused applications.

BD2-11C High-Elasticity Mesh Structure

We also showcased BD2-11C, a striped spacer mesh fabric developed by Mefiss Textile. Its unique structure provided more than 30% higher elasticity than standard spacer mesh fabrics, helping improve comfort and resilience in seat cushions, backpacks, office chairs, and ergonomic support products.

T2S-6Q Thick 3D Mesh for Cooling Products

Another highlight was T2S-6Q, a 20mm-thick 3D mesh fabric manufactured by our own fabric factory. Combined with our custom three-dimensional binding technology, it could be directly converted into breathable cooling mats and cushions, making it especially popular in hot and humid regions.

Many visitors were looking for alternatives to traditional foam and padding materials. By demonstrating how our spacer mesh fabrics and 3D mesh fabrics could improve airflow, comfort, and durability, we attracted strong interest from customers developing seating, bedding, medical, and outdoor products.
