What Makes It Special

10mm Quilted Mesh Sleeping Surface

The sleeping surface combines soft 4mm Lenzing™ Lyocell spacer mesh with 5.8mm honeycomb spacer mesh, reaching approximately 10mm total thickness. Both layers are secured by quilting instead of glue, providing excellent airflow, moisture transfer, resilience, and comfortable cushioning.

100% Washable POE Air Fiber Core

The 9cm, 55D POE air fiber core is formed in water without glue and can be directly rinsed and air-dried. Its large open structure releases heat and moisture quickly, while the transparent material makes internal cleanliness easy to see.

Breathable Mesh on Every Side

Instead of using conventional solid fabric around the mattress, the sides and bottom feature thick, large-hole spacer mesh for better ventilation and a substantial feel. Even the POE core uses a thin, semi-transparent mesh cover to preserve airflow while creating a refined finish.

Custom Fire and Waterproof Solutions

For different regional markets, the mattress can be developed according to specified flammability requirements, including CA117 and TB117 options stated in the product specification. Waterproof yet breathable mattress cover solutions can also be developed for different OEM and ODM projects.

How does POE air fiber compare with foam or latex? +

Compared with conventional memory foam and latex, POE air fiber has a much more open structure for continuous airflow and fast moisture release. It is less likely to support bacteria and mite buildup, can be directly washed, dries quickly, and provides stable, evenly distributed support.

What testing is available for the POE mattress core? +

The POE air fiber has passed food-contact-grade testing, RoHS, REACH SVHC, anti-mite, and durability testing. Its firmness can also be customized, including dual-sided constructions with different firmness levels, while custom core sizes are available from 200 pieces per size.

Are the spacer mesh fabrics produced by Mefiss? +

Yes. The functional spacer mesh used throughout the mattress is produced by our own fabric factory, Mefiss Textile. The range includes Lyocell mesh, honeycomb through-hole mesh, large-hole mesh, and lightweight semi-transparent core-cover mesh, using glue-free 3D warp-knitted structures designed for airflow, dimensional stability, quick drying, and durable resilience.

3D mesh fabric, also known as spacer mesh, is a three-dimensional textile structure that creates continuous airflow channels within the material. Compared with traditional foam or fiber fillings, it offers superior breathability, faster drying and excellent durability.

What makes Mefiss different is that we operate our own spacer mesh manufacturing facility, Mefiss Textile, equipped with more than 90 warp knitting machines capable of producing 1–20mm thick mesh fabrics in a wide range of weights, structures and surface patterns.
