Supportive 20mm 3D Mesh Base

The 20mm 3D mesh base provides both firmness and exceptional airflow, creating a stable platform for a newborn’s soft body. It helps new parents hold, transfer, or put down a sleeping baby more easily, and allows older siblings to hold the baby more securely under parental supervision.

Adjustable Wing Swaddle Design

Two wing-shaped swaddles wrap around the baby and adjust with quiet hook-and-loop fasteners for different newborn body sizes, helping create a secure feeling and reduce the startle reflex. Two inner hand pockets help keep the baby’s arms positioned while wrapped.

Weighted Heart Quilt with Diaper Access

A large quilt wraps comfortably around the baby, while approximately 20g of PE weighted beads inside the heart-shaped chest area imitate the gentle weight of a mother’s hand for additional soothing. Dual zipper sliders allow the bottom to open for easier diaper changes.

Breathable Newborn Head Support

The integrated pillow helps stabilize the newborn’s head while keeping the neck area completely flat to avoid unnecessary neck elevation. Mes-tio Shield™ antibacterial mesh, 4mm spacer mesh, and soft snow ball fiber combine breathability, moisture management, hygiene, and resilient cushioning.

How does the carry pad manage heat and moisture? +

The sleeping area uses 35% Lenzing™ Lyocell spacer mesh for moisture transfer and quick drying, while the 20mm 3D mesh base creates a highly open airflow structure. Both meshes are produced by our own fabric factory, Mefiss Textile, using Karl Mayer warp-knitting technology. The reverse S-channel jacquard fabric also helps reduce trapped heat.

What testing and certifications are available for the functional materials? +

The sleeping-area Lyocell mesh has Lenzing certification. Mes-tio Shield™ maintains over 96% antibacterial performance after 300 washes under GB/T 20944.3-2008. The snow ball fiber has passed anti-mite testing and antibacterial testing against four bacteria after 160 washes.

Where can this newborn carry pad be used? +

Its lightweight 75×34cm design makes it suitable for bassinets, beds, and strollers. The quilt uses Dacron™ air-thru polyfill with four airflow channels inside each fiber for efficient moisture transfer, low-allergen comfort, and lasting fluffiness after repeated washing.

What is 3D Mesh Fabric and why is it popular? +

3D mesh fabric, also known as spacer mesh, is a three-dimensional textile structure that creates continuous airflow channels within the material. Compared with traditional foam or fiber fillings, it offers superior breathability, faster drying and excellent durability.

What makes Mefiss different is that we operate our own spacer mesh manufacturing facility, Mefiss Textile, equipped with more than 90 warp knitting machines capable of producing 1–20mm thick mesh fabrics in a wide range of weights, structures and surface patterns. This allows us to customize thickness, airflow performance, texture, color and functional finishes based on specific product requirements.

Today, 3D mesh fabric is widely used in newborn pillows, kindergarten nap mats, stroller liners, mattresses, cushions and pet products, making it one of the most versatile materials for breathable comfort solutions.
